Where are you based?
We are based in the beautiful town of Royal Tunbridge Wells in the leafy suburbs of Kent. We typically plan weddings across the Southeast of England, including Kent, London, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire and Berkshire. However, we absolutely love to travel to new places, so if you are getting married further afield, then feel free to get in touch.
Do you only plan multicultural weddings?
Multicultural weddings are where our expertise and passion truly lie. We love blending two unique cultures into one joyful celebration and thrive on creating detailed schedules and itineraries for the multiple events that these weddings often include. These celebrations often centre around exceptional food, drink, and guest experiences – elements we love to focus on in every wedding.
That said, we also plan non-multicultural weddings, bringing the same care, creativity, and attention to detail to ensure every celebration is personal, meaningful, and unforgettable.
Do you plan destination weddings?
Our passion is planning weddings here in the UK. That said, we also work with couples based overseas who wish to celebrate their wedding in the UK, bringing the same care and attention to detail to create a seamless, unforgettable experience.
Why do I need a wedding planner?
Planning a wedding can take over 250 hours, and many of our clients are busy professionals who want to enjoy both their engagement and the lead-up to the wedding as much as the day itself. We’re here to take the pressure off, making the planning process smooth, enjoyable, and completely stress-free, so you can focus on what truly matters.
How many weddings do you take on each year?
We are fully committed to each of our couples, so we only take on a small number of full planning clients each year to ensure dedicated, personalised support. If you’re thinking of working with us, we recommend getting in touch as early as possible.
Will you be there on the day itself coordinating our wedding?
If you’ve booked our Full Planning Service, Lydia will absolutely be there on your wedding day, managing every detail from start to finish.
For Wedding Day Management, Lydia may occasionally delegate to one of her trusted industry colleagues. This is rare, but rest assured they will be fully briefed on every aspect of your wedding and will have met you both during the four weeks leading up to your celebration, ensuring seamless coordination in Lydia’s absence.
Do you have a recommended supplier list?
We work with a network of exceptionally talented wedding suppliers whose dedication and expertise help bring every plan to life. We recommend suppliers based on your individual needs and who we believe will execute your vision with care and respect for your traditions.
Because every wedding is unique, we don’t maintain a fixed list of recommended suppliers. We also love discovering new talent, so if you have a preferred supplier you’d like to include, we’re always happy to collaborate with them.
Are there any additional costs I should be aware of?
After our initial consultation, we’ll provide a bespoke proposal outlining your total investment. This will include any additional fees that may be required for travel or accommodation. Additional fees depend on the complexity of your wedding and the number of days we’re needed on-site for setup and pack-down.
We are always completely transparent and will make sure you know exactly what is and isn’t included in your quote before you book.
Are we able to meet remotely instead of in person?
Absolutely. We often work with busy professionals and entrepreneurs, so virtual meetings are a convenient option for planning calls. We do recommend at least one in-person site visit at your wedding venue to walk through your plans in detail. Beyond that, we can continue virtually, or meet locally for a coffee if you prefer.
Evenings and weekends work best for us – does this work with your schedule?
Absolutely! Most of our client calls take place in the evenings or on weekends. You’ll have access to our calendar, which includes availability throughout the week, including late evenings, so you can easily book a time that works best for you.
How do I book?
We make the booking process simple and efficient. If you’re ready to work together, head to our contact and complete the form, which goes directly to our inbox. We’ll then get in touch within 24 hours with a link to schedule your complimentary initial consultation.
What are your payment terms?
Payment terms vary slightly depending on the length and complexity of your wedding planning. Typically, an initial 40% is required to secure your date. A second 40% instalment is due approximately halfway through the planning process, with the remaining 20% due four weeks before your wedding day.
Is my deposit non-refundable?
Once your wedding date is secured in our diary, we often have to turn away other potential clients. For this reason, a percentage of our fee becomes non-refundable once we have started planning your wedding.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are fully insured and hold public liability insurance.
